ADC SoundBytes September – October 2009
The ADC Team has two SoundBytes scheduled over the coming months. One is a repeat of a popular session by Ryan Simpson, and the other is a new one delivered by Simon Ince. Ryan has also updated his session to include a brief overview of the new features in the Visual Studio 2010 Performance Tools.
The titles, dates, and abstracts are shown below.
The sessions are charged at the rate of 1 hour from your ADC contract, or 2 proactive hours from your Premier contract, if you haven’t yet got an ADC contract. For this price you may have up to 2 Live Meeting connections, and you are of course free to use these to broadcast to a room full of people in your office.
If you require further information on this subject after the event, you can of course engage with the ADC team as usual to setup a suitable session.

Visual Studio 2005 Team System introduced the code profiler for profiling both native and managed code, which was included and improved in 2008. In this session we’ll look at the toolset and the process you can use to find and fix memory and CPU bottlenecks in your code, and how we can use the GUI and command line tool set in both development, test, and production environments to the same effect. We’ll also have a quick look at the additions in Visual Studio 2010. |
