Tarot Coaching given a boost after Microsoft Workspace Week (Guest Blog)

Running a small business is like working on a thousand piece jigsaw puzzle: you know what the complete picture looks like, you have the edges and corners sorted, then it just takes time and patience to locate the more obscure pieces. My time with the Microsoft team today helped me reveal another concrete part of my jigsaw puzzle.

Everyone I met today was so friendly and resourceful, not to mention super cool, and they went out of their way to make us entrepreneurs all feel welcome. I received great advice on online marketing and SEO, which to date had remained the biggest mystery for me as a small business owner. There was also accounting and admin support available on site, with workshops from experts scheduled all throughout the day. When I decided to combine my two passions, tarot and coaching, now a little over a year back, I was confident I had created a brand new concept. Although a quick search on the internet proved otherwise, my unique mission is to restore credibility to this much misunderstood art. I work with professionals who are analytically and emotionally intelligent, and who want to get more juice out of their lives. Most of my clients are in well-paid finance, marketing, and business positions. They also often have personal long-term projects on the side, whether that might be starting their own businesses or launching a product. They come to coaching sessions with questions around choices they are making in their businesses, different avenues they can look at for marketing or financing, or with more personal questions. No matter what their questions are, each session gives a holistic overview of them as a person, and is deeply insightful.

Most tarot coaching sessions take place online over Skype (thanks again Microsoft!). This saves me and my clients the commute time and the hassle of hunting down a private meeting space across London. It also means I can see my clients back to back in the comfort of my home or remote office without leaving my desk. I accept payments electronically as well, via Paypal. My clients appreciate this as it is a secure and convenient method for them. And for me, it keeps my invoicing and accounting all online, easy to track, and straightforward.

Spending a day with the Microsoft team in London, I appreciated the dynamic and professional climate so conducive to productive work, and it was great to bounce some ideas off fellow entrepreneurs. I walked away with details of other fantastic business owners, professional advice, and tasks to follow up with. Thank you again Microsoft, and hope to get invited back in the future!

Thanks

What is Tarot Coaching?

Each tarot coaching session begins by clarifying what the client wants to get out of the session. The cards are then shuffled and a spread of tarot cards is laid out to gain an insight into the present picture of the person. Then, with the ensuing coaching conversation, we delve into the heart of the matter. The session is wrapped up with a summary of discoveries and action points. Tarot is not used as a tool for divination in Tarot Coaching, but rather as an instrument to examine the long standing and the fresh influences impacting your life, and help you build your business and future.
