Windows 10 for Business

What can Windows 10 do for your Business?

Windows 10 is all about you and your business.  Your experience on your tablet, handset or laptop should be personal, efficient and mobile and that is why Windows 10 is a great choice for business owners and organisations who need their apps, services and content across numerous devices. In our connected and transparent world, we know that everyone cares about privacy – and so do we. That’s why everything we do puts you in control – because it is your business and you should be!  We want our technology to empower you and your business to succeed and we believe Windows 10 can help you do just that.

What will Windows 10 do for you? (And can you really get a free upgrade)?

Correct, you will not be charged for Windows 10 after you upgrade from Windows 7 or 8.1. The free upgrade offer is available for the first year!

We announced that a free upgrade for Windows 10 will be made available to customers running Windows 7, Windows 8.1*, and Windows Phone 8.1 who upgrade in the first year after launch**. This is more than a one-time upgrade: once a Windows device is upgraded to Windows 10, we will continue to keep it current for the supported lifetime of the device – at no cost, this is delivering Windows as a Service and just like any Internet service, the idea of asking “What version are you on?” will cease to make sense. With Windows 10, the experience will evolve and get even better over time. We’ll deliver new features when they’re ready, not waiting for the next major release.

Everything about Windows 10 – the experiences, delivering it as a service and the free upgrade – means ongoing value to all our customers. The new generation of Windows is a commitment—a commitment to liberate people from technology and enable them to do great things.

For customers who want to help shape the future of Windows you can join our Insiders programme, you get early access to the Windows 10 Technical Preview so you can try out the new features, give us your feedback, and get the chance to win cool stuff.
