Low Bandwidth view in MSDN and TechNet Libraries
MSDN and TechNet libraries have a "low bandwidth view" feature for low bandwidth users. In case you are not aware of it, try it out now. It comes very handy when browsing the MSDN/TechNet library using a data card or any other form of slow Internet connection.
Switching it ON
Method #1
Click on the "Switch on low bandwidth view" link on top left of the page. To use this method, the page should be open in default view. So, its tough to use when using dial up or slow Internet connections.
Method #2
Append “(loband)” text before “.aspx” in the page URL. This is suggested when clicking on or typing a link to MSDN/TechNet page. For example, change the URL https://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/cc537498.aspx to https://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/cc537498(loband).aspx to see the low bandwidth version of page directly.
Switching it OFF
Once you are in low bandwidth view, all MSDN/TechNet pages open in low bandwidth view. To come back to default view, click on the "Switch off low bandwidth view" link available in top right of the page
