With every release of Windows - we have released a matching "Hypervisor Top Level Functional Specification". This document is some of the most detailed documentation we have on what the core hypervisor of Hyper-V actually looks like.
Well, now we have collected all of these documents into one place. If you want to know the particulars of any release of the Hyper-V hypervisor you can go here to get the matching document: https://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/virtualization/hyperv_on_windows/develop/tlfs
Cheers,

Ben,Many thanks. This is a ton of documentation. By title, each of these refers to a Windows Server release, however. Are there differences with respect to the Windows 10 Client implementation of Hyper-V? If not, which Server doc reflects the specs for the Client? The latest? Thanks in advance.-Ron - Anonymous
