瑞々しい図面を作ろう
Visio 2003 はグラフィックのレンダリングに GDI+ を使っています。GDI+ というとセキュリティの? という印象が強いかもしれませんが、実際には描画エンジンです。 GDI+ は Windows 2000 に搭載された描画エンジンで、その後の Platform SDK や OS にはすべて含まれています。今でこそ当たり前になった感じがしますが、Windows 2000 がリリースされたときに、半透明のウィンドウや、フェードインするメニューに新鮮味を覚えた人は少なくないと思います。Visio 2003 のアンチエイリアス表示、透過性の設定は GDI+ で実現しているものです。透明感のあるインターフェースは当たり前になりましたが、透明感のあるドキュメントはなかなか見ることはありませんね。まあいちいち作るのは大変ですから。
今回はフェード効果を追加する図形を紹介します。図形に効果を追加する方法ではなくて、効果を適用した図形を一度作り、あと使いまわそうというものです。
まずどのテンプレートでもよいので図面を作成し、四角形ツールで四角を描きます。編集作業がしやすい形とサイズで構いません。
四角を右クリックし、[書式] - [塗りつぶし] と選択して塗りつぶしの設定を行います。塗りつぶし色は白、パターンは 30 か 39 にします。パターンの色は黒にしてください。影も必要ないのでスタイルを [00: なし] にしてください。上半分が白くフェードした黒色の四角ができているはずです。
この四角のシェイプシートを開き、[Fill Format] セクションの [FillForegroundTrans ] の値を 100 にします。シェイプシートを閉じると、四角形の黒かった部分が透明になっているはずです。周囲を覆う線もいらないので、[書式] - [線] で線のパターンを [00: なし] にします。
最後の仕上げとして、[図形] - [最前面へ移動] と設定してください。これでフェード図形が完成しました。
このフェード図形を、サイズを調整して今まで作成した図形の上にかぶせてみてください。どうでしょう? 派手ではありませんが、ハイキーで透明感のある図形になりませんか? ネットワーク図、グラフ、ガントチャート、フローチャートなど何にでも適用可能です。背景が白の図面でしか利用できないという制限はありますが、図面のプレゼンテーション効果アップとしては有効な技です。機会があったら是非お試しください。
