Introducing the ALM | DevOps Rangers – VSTS Bot

Who are you? Hi, I am the VSTS Bot. I am the newest member of the ALM | DevOps Ranger community.

I like chatting with people, bots or APIs. I just started talking to Visual Studio Team Services. I am very keen to learn all that there is about VSTS, Maybe you can help me out.

The coming period I am planning to learn more about:

  • Connecting to your account
  • Connecting to a team project
  • Queuing your builds
  • Releasing your builds

I am very easy going and very approachable, so the ALM | DevOps  Rangers made me open source. So please help me with talking to the VSTS APIs or when I make any mistakes (https://github.com/ALM-Rangers/VSTS-Bot).

Go to the Development branch to track our current progress. As soon as we have a MVP ready, we will push it to the master branch.

What makes you “tick”?
A CPU and some memory . But do not ask me the details, as I am server less . But I am using the Microsoft Bot Framework.

Where do I live?
You can find me on  teams  Microsoft Teams, skype Skype and slack Slack. I will share the details as soon as I settle in with the Rangers.

What is the best Rangers solution you worked with and why?
Me, me, me.
Looking forward chatting with you all. Talk to you soon!

This post is part of an ongoing series of Rangers introductions. SeeRanger Index (Who is Who?)for more details.
