TNWiki Article Spotlight - TechNet Wiki Community Council
Welcome to Tuesday's TechNet Wiki Article Spotlight!
Today's spotlight is on...
TechNet Wiki Community Council
The first pass of this article was on April 2nd, 2010...
The Council is a small group from Microsoft and the community that will create policies to make the wiki community work.
There are eight members: four FTEs, two MVPs, and two “at large.” Although not yet complete, current names are Larry Franks, Kim Ditto-Ehlert, Monica Rush (FTE); Gerard Boyer (at large). We hope to have all members shortly after the 4/15 launch. Members will serve for a year.
The Council models itself after the Ubuntu Leadership Code of Conduct, whose “foremost goal is ensuring that their team members and team succeed.” Early tasks we will take on include clarifying policies around plagiarism and non-English content.
We will meet weekly for the time being. We will post meeting minutes on this page, and we’ll archive minutes here.
Important: Please add agenda items below: we need suggestions about important issues.
By the end of the same day, the article looked like this:
