A tecnologia Infocard foi rebatizada como Windows CardSpace.

Todos os componentes do WinFX serão partes do .NET Framework 3.0 incluindo Windows Presentation Foundation (WPF), Windows Communication Foundation (WCF), Windows Workflow Foundation (WFF) and Windows CardSpace (WCS).
