The Floor at a Glance

Step into my shoes as I arrive on the scene of PAX Prime in downtown Seattle. This weekend, the Washington State Convention Center plays host to scores of "gaming enthusiasts" (lolnerds) who shall descend upon the exhibits, game rooms and concerts like so many zombies to a pipe bomb.

Here are some initial impressions from the floor, a relatively light crowd for Friday afternoon, this is the calm before the storm of information hungry gamers and mysterious, unidentifiable odors.
