Error Installing SQL Server 2014

When i try to install SQL Server 2014 in my desktop, it gives an error as,

The following error has occurred:

An error occurred during the installation of assembly 'Microsoft.VC80.CRT,version="8.0.50727.42",type="win32",processorArchitecture="x86",publicKeyToken="1fc8b3b9a1e18e3b"'. Please refer to Help and Support for more information.

How can i fix this? Please Help.

Hello,

Please download and install the VC++ 2005 SP1 from below links:

https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=5638 (32-bit)

https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=18471 (64-bit)

After that, try to install SQL Server again.

Hello,

Please open the Command Prompt with the “Run as Administrator” option, the run the following command:

fsutil resource setautoreset true C:\

Then try to manually install VC++ again.

After that try to install SQL Server.

The command was completed successfully but i still get the same error. Is there something wrong with my computer?

Specifications --

OS: Windows 10 Pro

RAM: 4GB

Processor: Dual Core (1.80 GHz)

Please run sfc /scannow as explained on below article.

https://support.microsoft.com/en-in/help/929833/use-the-system-file-checker-tool-to-repair-missing-or-corrupted-system-files

Another tool you can run is the following:
