msRTCSIP-OptionFlags attribute

Question

Hello. I have a question of this attribute for Lync.

For a sample account it is set as

385 = Enhanced Presence (256) + UCEnabled (128) +  PIC Enabled (1)

http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/gg412841.aspx

Certainly Enterprise Voice is enabled for this user but PIC is not enabled globally in External Access Policy.

Where is the setting location of this bit?

Thank you.

Hi,Makita,

Unfortunately I haven't found any documents for Lync msRTCSIP-OptionFlags,however the functions and features have been divided into items by category in Lync Control Panel for convenience, the corresponding locations are as following:

PIC enabled setting location is  External User Access--External Access Policy--Enable communication with Public users

UC enabled setting location is  User--Telephony--Select"Enterprise Voice"

Remote call control setting location is User--Telephony--Select"Remote call control only"

AllowOrganizeMeetingWithAnonymousParticipants  setting location is  Conferencing--conferencing policy-global( or site/pool)--Orgnizer Policy--check "Allow participants to invite anoynmous users  "

EnabledForEnhancedPresence setting location    Sorry,I didn't find this setting location,it should be enabled by default. And you can check http://blogs.technet.com/b/drrez/archive/2011/07/06/microsoft-lync-server-2010-resource-kit-enhanced-presence-2.aspx and http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/gg399028.aspx  for more information.

RemoteCallControlDualMode  setting location is Lync Control Panel--User--Telephony--Select"Remote call control"

Hope these useful!

Regards,

Sharon
