missing "Configure Distribution"

I am using SQL server 2012, the "configure distribution" menu item is missing when I righ click on Replication. Can any body help me?

Configure Distribution only appears if you have not previously configured replication. Can you right-click Replication and then click Distributor Properties instead? (And you must be connected as a member of the sysadmin fixed server role.)
