Question

Hi All,
I have a stage enviroment where I migrate from WSS3 to SP2010 and do some 3rd party tools tests.
When I browse to any of the site collections as farm admin (checked under CA > Security > Farm Admins) and I see the SharePoint-admin there (it is a domain user account). As well checked that the content DB's are not in Read-only state.
Still each site that I'm entering, I see only the Actions menu (it's still in the 2007 look and feel). I tried login as one of the Site collections admin but same reaction.
Any thoughts?
Thanks a lot in advance

A user with Farm Admin rights is not automatically granted rights in Site Collections. To bypass having to add the user to every Site Collection, in Central Administration go to Manage Web Applications. Highlight the Web App you want to give yourself rights to then click on User Policy. Add your user account with Full Control rights. This will give you the same rights as a user with Site Collection Administrator access on the site.
