Hi all,
In hyper-V, after start the virtual machine, and try to connect, we always be requested to enter user and password.
Is there anyway to automate this? Especially when the virtual machine is used as member of pooled virtual desktop, so any user who authorize to do remote connection to this pool doesn't need to provide logon credential?
Thanks.

On your management server if you go to Hyper-V manager then click on one of your Hyper-V manager servers and go to "Hyper -V Settings", click on "User Credentials" and check the box that says "Use default credentials automatically" this will solve the issue you are having in SCVVM.
I have it on good authority that if you type Google into Google you will bring down the internet...

Are you referring to using RDP? Or the Hyper-V Manager VM Console application? Or are you using the RDS solution?
The default behavior for RDP is to prompt (it does not passthrough).
The default behavior for any console (Hyper-V or SCVMM) is to simply remote the console, so the experience is that of a physical machine, prompts and all.
The RDS solution might give you the experience os passthrough authentication just as XenDesktop does.

Hi Brian,
We're in the middle of setting RDS, using remote virtual machine (with Hyper-V).
Without using RDS, connect to a Virtual Machine via Hyper itself, it always prompt password. Our intention to disable the prompting. So, when i logon to the server as Administrator, i can automatically connect to Hyper-V Virtual Machine as Administrator as well.
Can we do that in Hyper-V?
Thanks.
Thanks!

Which Hyper-V version? I don't see any "User Credentials" in settings.
