Hi    Jithendar,

>>I am getting below errors when i check the broken links for my site.

As far as I know, the error 999 don't exist in a W3C Hypertext Transfer Protocol - HTTP/1.1, this non-standard code is returned by some sites (e.g. linkedin) which do not permit scanning.

As mention here, LinkedIn do not allow direct access. They have blacklisted Heroku's IP address and the only way to access the data is to use their APIs.

Hi Jiyhendar Bathini,

Thank you for feedback.

Based on my search, the broken links tool is Broken Link Checker. Is it right?

Based on my search, it caused by not limited to BLC, but any attempt to check too much/too fast on LinkedIn. You could add linkedin.com to the exclusion list in Settings -> Link Checker -> Which Links To Check to fix the issue.

Here are the similar threads for your reference.
