Dear team,
We want stop Windows Automatic Updates on Windows 10 IoT Enterprise LTSB 2016 . Our products being real-time systems, we need to stop Automatic Updates and Administrator will update the same, as required. So I tried all options of “Configure Automatic Updates” in GPO, then too windows updates were applied automatically. Finally I disabled the Windows Update Service before making the image and it works. Is this the correct way to block windows update or is there any other recommended way to achieve the same.

Yes, we can disable the windows update service but it will turn on again at a later time, according to some users. Here is an article describes the detailed steps that should disable auto update permanently:
