Question

Hi all,
I'm trying to configure a kiosk at our office.
The main purpose is to consult a few webpages and be able to print webpages and pdf-files.
Setting up the kiosk and restricting the urls is easy.
Printing webpages and opening pdf files seems a lot harder.
So i will explain what i have done so far:
I created a user named Kiosk, added a network printer and restricted the urls using proxy (IE)
I then locked down the user with the Kiosk Mode in Windows 10
Two problems appear:
1. When i try to print a page, the printer is shown in the preview, but i immediately receive a message:
"Your printer has experienced an unexpected configuration problem 0x80070005."
2. when opening a pdf-link, Edge asks me to open, save or cancel.
Opening results in a refresh op Edge
Saving doesn't do anything (as far as i can see)
What is the solution please?
Thanks in advance,
Fre

Hi,
Is the printer work properly when not in kiosk mode?
I would suggest you turn off your proxy and try again.
If the printer still have the error, you can run troubleshoot printer, Under Setting, click Troubleshooting tab, go to the Get up and running tab and click on Printer. Then, click on the Run the troubleshooter button.
Best regards.

I added the network printer on the admin account and i did a testpage without any problems.
Could there be a restriction on user level?
And secondly, any advise on the pdf handling in assigned access mode?
Thanks for your help.
