Microsoft Visual C++ 2012 x64 - Error 0x8007015e

Unable to interact with this file, preventing installation of programs.

Hello,

Hmmm... the best recommendation which I can do based on what was written - push a button "Power" on your PC and don't touch it again.

If you omit "Redistributable" in description - read this:

But better contact a supplier and ask to provide relevant installer.

We have no context in which to interpret the posted error, but it corresponds to :

ERROR_FAIL_NOACTION_REBOOT

350 (0x15E)

No action was taken as a system reboot is required.

Which program did you tried to install?

The Error code ā€˜0x8007015e’ often means "No action was taken as a system reboot is required.", please try to reboot the computer and if this issue persist, please try with the following steps to troubleshoot:

1. Check Windows update and make all patches to the latest

2. Run Fix it tool to fix problems that block programs from being installed or removed.

3. Uninstall the Visual C++ 2012 from Control Panel>Programs and Features.

4. Reboot your machine

**5. **Re-download and install from Visual C++ Redistributable for Visual Studio 2012 Update 4.
