Hi,
I meet a problem,
when I try to uninstall visual studio 2008, I always encounter the following error,
I have tried uninstall it from the control panel and uninstall Visual Studio 2008 by the tool:

Hi,
Welcome to MSDN forum.
Before uninstall Visual Studio, please turn off your anti-virus/antispyware software; clean your %temp% folder (Start Menu >> Run >> Type "%temp% >> OK).
Make sure you are login Windows as Administrator;
Please open Strat menu >> Control Panel >> Programs >> View installed updates, check and remove all Visual Studio 2008 updates and then uninstall visual studio 2008.
If it doesn’t work, please repair visual studio 2008 firstly and you could download the Windows Fixit tool from here: https://support.microsoft.com/en-sg/help/17588/fix-problems-that-block-programs-from-being-installed-or-removed, which fix problems that block programs from being installed or removed.
If the issue persists, I need your log. Please use http://aka.ms/vscollect to gather the logs. After using it, you will find vslogs.zip under %temp% folder. Please upload the file to https://onedrive.live.com/ and share the link here.

Thanks, the tool fix the registry error and removed the vs2008 correctly.
