Can not Activate windows 10 PRO by phone

We migrate windows 7 to windows 10 on old laptop for everyone in corporate. But can't activate windows 10 PRO preload.

So we try to fixed problem by "Troubleshoot" in function "Activation" but can't activate again.

I'm contact call center Microsoft in thailand. He told solution "Activate by phone" but can't do the same.

Would you please help me fix this problem. We have error (0x80070520) for detail in a link as below. Thanks.

Open Settings.
Now, Click on the “Update & Security” section and then choose “Troubleshoot” option.
Then, drop-down to the bottom until you find “Windows Store App entry” option.
After that, click on it and choose the “Run Troubleshooter” option.
Next, wait until the system scan is finished.

In Start Search type wsreset and hit the Enter key.

Then, right-click on the wsreset.exe entry and choose “Run as Administrator.”
After that, Store cache should not be cleaned. Do not click on anything until a black Command Prompt window appears on the screen.
Reboot.

Hello,

What exactly happens when you try activation via phone?

Can you retry these steps to see if they works:

1. Press Windows Key + X then select Run, then type: slui.exe 4 and click OK.

2. Select your 'Country' from the list.

3. Then select 'Phone Activation' option.

4. Now call the phone number mentioned and try to get the confirmation ID.

Dear S.Sengupta,

How to solve the problem that you have given. It doesn't work.

Windows Store Apps request sing-in account for activate. detail in a link "https://social.technet.microsoft.com/Forums/getfile/1462625".

I go to Sign-in account and login for run troubleshoot in "Windows Store Apps" but can't do the same.

I have error (0x80070520) again.

Seems to be a weird thing to say, why not just Win + R?

Hi everyone,

Already founded real problem. Because laptop remember "Old BIOS ID". Therefore cannot be activated windows.
Thanks so much for a lot solution and so sry for answer delay.

How to fix : Update BIOS again and restart laptop. After update try activate windows by "Troubleshoot" again.
