Question

Hi all,
How can i only disable the "reset this pc" options that appear after pressing Shift-Restart?
Even Deleting the file systemreset.exe did'nt work and i was still able to reset the system.
I want to avoid using Reagentc /disable as i want to keep the other recovery settings.
Also, if i do use the Reagentc /disable option, will it disable the auto-recovery feature that kicks in when there are repeated system failed startup as well?
Thank you.

Hi,
Based on my test, type in reagentc.exe /disable from the command prompt.
This will disable the Reset this PC feature from the Advanced Startup option, with other servicing options intact.
If you want to go into advanced recovery option, you could press “Shift” and click restart option. Then recovery options window will display.
Hope it will be helpful to you

After executing the reagentc.exe /disable, this is what i get after Shit-Restart:
All the other recovery options are gone.
The auto recovery is also not functional anymore:
This is not in line with what you wrote..
Are there any other options to only disable the "reset this pc" feature.
Thank you.
