Windows 10 Installation stuck at Windows Logo

Question

Hello

I'm trying to do a clean install of Windows 10 x64 on my computer. I have downloaded the ISO from Microsoft website and managed to create a boot-able DVD and a boot-able USB. After this I start my computer and go into the Boot Menu to choose CD-ROM or USB-Drive however both of these (USB and DVD) lead me to a Windows 10 Logo on the screen and it doesn't go further than that. (There are no spinning dots)

Let me clarify here that I have burned the exact ISO from the MS website on the DVD. Also I have used the same ISO to create the boot-able USB using 'disk part' utility. (The partition is set to active as we can see that it boots but gets stuck at the Windows Logo).

The desktop computer I am using is a HP (Just in case you're wondering this is some problem with Samsung computers).

I've spent 2 days googling and trying to get this sorted but haven't found anything. Some help would be great.

Try check for BIOS update in your PC and if there is new BIOS, update it first and then run Windows 10.

Hi,

Do you mean Windows 10 stuck when second time restarting?

If so, please remove your USB or DVD and make sure to change SATA mod as AHCI under BIOS, then restart the computer to see if there is any issue.

If the issue still persists, please start via the USB device, and use command to copy out the setuperr.log and setupact.log under %windir%\PANTHER\

Note: X is the USB drive letter.

cd %windir%\PANTHER\copy setuperr.log x:copy setupact.log x:

Ensure the BIOS has the correct date\time

Sounds like its sticking on the plug n play, so disconnect.

Is this a packaged build or direct from the ISO?  If its packaged and your using MDT\SCCM then check driver injection.  If its ISO media, then disconnect surpluses devices just encase its stuck trying to load\find a driver for an old device.
