Notifications not working

Push notifications have stopped working for Microsoft Authenticator App on my iPhone 6S. It was working correctly before, but all of a sudden one day I'm only able to get the notification if I open up the app. I made sure that notifications for this app are turned on, and I do not have do not disturb turned on or anything else that would prevent notifications. All other app notifications are working correctly on my phone.

Have the exact same problem on my Lumia 950XL. Microsoft Authenticator App notifications are not working anymore with Office 365 and Microsoft Accounts.

What is the version of Microsoft authenticator app and your OS?

If possible, I suggest you could use latest version App.

Same issue.  Website will say a notification was sent, but I never receive it on my iPhone.  Website says the requests timed out and if I hit next, then it will present the number that I must match via the authenticator app and it then works.  This started about a week ago.

To troubleshoot this issue more efficiently, cloud you please send logs through the settings page? The newest version has send logs option.

After we send the log, we will get an event ID, please remember it and post it here.

I am getting that exact same thing every-time where it tells me a notification has been sent to my mobile device but i never receive it.

It has been a long while now over three months i'm not able to log into my email on my phone, eversince my last password reset

FIX FOR ANDROID: 
Symptoms: Unable to approve logins using the Authenticator app for Android (possibly iOS) / "error communicating with server" message when you try to approve a request.

I changed my screen lock settings earlier, which apparently requires that you "re-authorize the account" or "re-enable the account" in the Authenticator app (I don't remember exactly which one it was lol).

Go into the app, and there should be an option like "Re-authorize account" or "Re-enable account", I think I got the menu item when i clicked on the account or went to the settings area in the app.  (it isn't a complex app, if the option is there it shouldn't take long to find)
