Greetings
We are starting to replace our meeting room computers in our organization with new systems with Windows 10.For PC's that are used in meeting rooms, in the past we would disable the Security Center service to stop the popups (enable firewall, backup, etc notifications) from disrupting presentations. In Windows 10, I have tried enabling the Remove Notifications and Action Center local GPO to stop these popups, however it seems that users are still getting notification about OneDrive, Firewall, etc.
Is there an easy method to disable all balloon popups from all users in Windows 10?
Thanks,
Greg

Have you tried this ?..................
Right click at taskbar > Taskbar Settings > under Notification area heading, click Turn system icons on or off (screenshot #1)> Locate Action Center and turn it off (screenshot $2)
Result : Action Center icon is removed from the Notification area.

Since many users will be logging into this computer, I wish have this configured globally. I assume the setting you have highlighted above will only work for the logged in user?
Are you aware off a local GPO or regkey setting that does the same task for all users (new and existing)?
Thanks

Hi Greg_Vic,
Try the following gpo:
User Configuration\Administrative Templates\Start Menu and Taskbar\Remove Notifications and Action Center
I have tested it and it could work well.
Best regards

I have a DC running Windows Server 2016(lets call it server A), and another server running Windows Server 2016 (lets call it server B)
I have added the GPO as you described, and rebooted server B several times but it is still showing the notification and action center icon, does Server A also need to be rebooted? or do you know any other reason why is may not be working?
