Hi,
Adding MUI packages to Windows 1909 image. I have installed the language packs as:
Microsoft-Windows-Client-Language-Pack_x64_fi-fi
Then I added the FOD package as:
Microsoft-Windows-LanguageFeatures-Handwriting-fi-fi-Package~31bf3856ad364e35~amd64~~
Microsoft-Windows-LanguageFeatures-Basic-fi-fi-Package~31bf3856ad364e35~amd64~~
Microsoft-Windows-LanguageFeatures-TextToSpeech-fi-fi-Package~31bf3856ad364e35~amd64~~
Microsoft-Windows-NetFx3-OnDemand-Package~31bf3856ad364e35~amd64~fi-FI~
Question:
Do I need to add the Local Experience Pack (APPX) for the same language?
LanguageExperiencePack.fi-fi.Neutral

Hi,
Target is to "Add" all related packages into the image so there would be no packages left for the download. In my screenshot above, you can see that I have chosen Finish as main language and system follows the regional settings etc. but menus are still partially localized.
I mean otherwise there is no advantage to add LXP (.APPX) files in the offline image.

It depends if you like to go for language translation,if you like to install a Local Experience Pack to use Windows 10 in the language of your choice then try MS Store as they receive regular updates through the Microsoft Store

Hi,
Language Experience Packs allow you to change the language Windows uses for interface elements, like menus, dialog messages, settings, and help topics.
If you create Windows images with LIP, you will have to add the corresponding LXP for that LIP. For full languages, there is no change and you will continue to use the corresponding lp.cab.

Farena

Hi,
The issue persists as the OS adding LXPs didn't result in any gain. The screenshot above is an example that even the required AppxPackage is provisioned still OS shown several items in English.
