Do you have solutions etc in this farm? I'm doing a 2007 to 2019 at the moment and chose to just use ShareGate and migrate the data to 2019. Only has 4.8GB of data, but would probably be quicker than a stepping stone approach

If this is helpful please mark it so. Also if this solved your problem mark as answer.

Hi Yang,

Migrating from SharePoint 2007 to 2019 is a very big leap. However there are multiple ways to achieve this.

  1. Go by step by step, Migrate from 2007 to 2010, 2010 to 2013, 2013 to 2016 and finally 2016 to 2019 (very expensive and time consuming
  2. Content DB attach and detach, even in this approach also you will need to spend long time
  3. Migrating using 3rd party tools, ShareGate, AvePoint, Metalogix etc

The best way I can tell you is use ShareGate very intuitive and userfriendly (cost is very less comparative to other tools)

Hope this helps, please let me know if you see any other help needed.

Enjoy the SharePoint !!

Best Regards,
Krishna
