Hi Everybody,
i am new to SSRS
i creted reports using MSvisualstudio while deploying a report i m getting error,
I need urgent solution for tis....
Error 2 System.Web.Services.Protocols.SoapException: Server was unable to process request. > Microsoft.ReportingServices.Diagnostics.Utilities.ServerConfigurationErrorException: The report server has encountered a configuration error. See the report server log files for more information. at Microsoft.ReportingServices.Diagnostics.AuthenticationExtensionFactory.get_AuthenticationExtension() at Microsoft.ReportingServices.WebServer.ReportingService2005..ctor() End of inner exception stack trace 0 0
any assist appreciate

Can you check eventviewer for correct error information
and did you tried looking at preview while designing the report

preview are working nice,but i dont know how to check event viewer....
can i change anything in reporting server configuation?or any thing in virtual directory...

You can Check Event Log by typing Eventvwr in Run Command

Error occurs in
application-
Report Server (MSSQLSERVER) cannot connect to the report server database.
and
system-
The application-specific permission settings do not grant Local Activation permission for the COM Server application with CLSID
{BA126AD1-2166-11D1-B1D0-00805FC1270E}
to the user WISDOM19\ASPNET SID (S-1-5-21-1202660629-1682526488-725345543-1011). This security permission can be modified using the Component Services administrative tool.
a lots of error occurs,what can i do ya
i must finish tis issue..

Check the user permissions on Reporting Services Folder in Program Files. Give full permissions for ASP NET user.
Check rsreportconfig file and check whether URL Root given there is correct.

URL root is correct.but i dont know how to give permission
in rsreportserver.config file error occurs on
<Configuration>
error is -element not declared

Goto Program Files - > MSSQL Server - > MsSQL.2 or 3-> Reporting Services folder is here.
Right click on it and Give permissions there for ASP NET user click on Advanced tab and select all subfolders and files
and click on OK

i given all permission and deployed error occurs ....
if i set authentication mode="windows" tis error occur
A connection could not be made to the report server http://localhost/ReportServer.
