How to check if the SharePoint update has been applied on SharePoint Foundation version 2013?

I have installed this update https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/kb/3115171 but how will I know that this update has been applied on SharePoint Foundation version 2013. How do I check it? Please advise.

Hi LiinaaS,

You could check the build number in central administration.

Go to Central Administration->upgrade and migration->check production and patch installation status. Then you could check the build for SharePoint foundation 2013 core. The build number should be 15.0.4833.1000.

Goto Central Admin site, under Upgrade and Migration, click on "Check product and patch installation status".

If you access the Servers in the Farm link in Central Admin it will tell you what build level the server is running.  If this CU is installed it should be build 15.0.4833.1000 or later.
