Before setting up DAG on your Exchange server 2013 simply pre-stage DAG - I have followed this article and everything is running perfectly

It's bad form to post advertisements in the forums.

I have seen that happen when the DAG networks are misconfigured.  Specifically, is your DAG IP address on the public network?

Hi,

Iit appears you are getting the error whilst you try to add a member to the DAG and form the cluster.

Check the permissions of the Exchange Trusted Subsytem on the CNO (Cluster Network Object) and assign Full control right if not set . Then disable the CNO object.

You have this error because your AD is a windows server 2012. you should pre staged the CNO. However you can fix this issue easily. It is a permission issue on the CNO. However if you fix this issue you will have another error because the DNS name field in the CNO is empty and another one because the CNO is enable in AD and should be disable.

This article also worked for me as well.

SCENARIO: Exchange 2016 DAG on multisite configuration, got the "..incorrectly configured static addresses.." error when trying to add DAG member servers, but my config was correct.

Followed: https://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/ff367878.aspx exactly, and I was able to add the servers no problem.

I'm curious though whether the DAG CNO needs to be re-enabled?
