Azure Web App: Clone to different Azure region
Set the App Service Plan for a web app to Premium
1. On the blade of the Web app you created earlier, click Clone app in the DEVELOPMENT TOOLS section.

2. Note the message stating that the Clone app is a feature that is only available to apps hosted on Premium App Service Plans. You can upgrade your App Service Plan to get access to this feature.
3. Click Upgrade Now

4. On the Choose your pricing tier blade, ensure that P1 Premium is selected and click Select. Wait until the App Service plan is updated.

Clone the Azure Web app
1. Refresh the Internet Explorer page and click Clone app in the DEVELOPMENT TOOLS section again.

2. On the Clone app blade, specify the following settings and click Create:

- App name: a unique, valid name
- Subscription: the Azure subscription
- Resource Group: the same resource group
- App Service Plan/Location: create a new App Service plan with the following settings:
i. App Service plan name: set the name to the 206xASP followed by the name of the resource group and the word clone.
ii. Location: Choose an Azure region other than South Central US that is close to your physical location
iii. Pricing tier: P1 Premium
