MCITP: Database Administrator 2008
The Database Administrator 2008 certification is for IT professionals who are working in an environment in which Microsoft SQL Server 2008 is used for database solutions. They should have experience with the following:

- Data distribution
- Automating administrative tasks
- Maintaining administrative tasks
- Defining security solutions
- Monitoring and troubleshooting the database server
- Performance optimization
- Designing and executing deployments
- Deployments and migration
- Defining the infrastructure
Required exams
- Exam 70-432 - TS: Microsoft SQL Server 2008, Implementation and Maintenance
- Exam 70-450 - Pro: Designing, Optimizing and Maintaining a Database Administrative Solution Using Microsoft SQL Server 2008
