$ne

The $ne operator is used to select documents where the value of a field doesn't equal a specified value.

Syntax

The syntax for the $ne operator is:

{ field: { $ne: value } }

Parameters

Parameter Description
field The field to be compared
value The value that the field shouldn't be equal to

Example 1 - Find stores whose name isn't "Fourth Coffee"
