Overall summary view

The overall Summary View is designed to give the admin a quick glance at learner enrollments, learner engagement, and course completion. It provides insights on content quality, facilitates comparative analytics across categories, and enables admins to notice things that require attention.

To access the overall Summary View, you need to select the Analytics option on the left navigation panel.

In this article, you will learn more about different metrics and reports available to administrators, so they can monitor the overall health and success of the training program.

Permissions Level

The Community Training management portal provides role-based administration. Depending on the access level, administrators can perform certain actions. The table below shows administrative roles which are allowed to access the overall summary report on the portal:

This section enables an admin to view learner enrollment over time and popular courses by enrollment among learners:

The graph provides information about all the learners enrolled for all courses across all the categories over time. Hover over the title to view the description of the graph. The values that are measured are:

  • x-axis — Timeline
  • y-axis — Number of unique learners across categories

Top courses by registration and courses with no enrollments

This section provides information on the popular courses across categories. This comparative insight helps the admins to take further action to improve the course content or to engage learners effectively. It also shows any courses with no registrations.

The graph provides information about total course enrollment and course completion across all the categories over time. Hover over the title to view the description of this graph. The values that are measured are:

  • y-axis — Total number of course registrations and completion across categories

This view gives a graphical representation of the growth in the number of course enrollments and course completions for all courses across categories over a period. The data presented can help take corrective measures if the course completion curve falls below the course enrolment curve by a wide margin.

Top courses by completion and courses with no completion

This section provides a breakdown of the popular courses by completion across categories. This comparative insight helps the admins to take further action to improve the course content or to engage learners effectively. Looking at the image below, Community Farming has the most number of learner completion and there are 51 courses with no completion.

This section enables an admin to compare learner’s enrollment and course completion across all the categories.

In the table below, for each category, you can see the number of courses, the unique number of learners enrolled, and the number of course completions with course completion percentage.

From the category grid, you can:

  1. Select the respective column headings to sort the rows by any column.
  2. Select Download List to download the data into an Excel sheet.
  3. Select a row to view detailed information about course enrollments and course completion for the specific category.
