Microsoft Dynamics 365 - Service Update 21033 Release Notes


Service Update 21033 for Microsoft Dynamics 365 9.2.0 is now available. This article describes the hotfixes and updates that are included in Service Update 21033.

Important

Note: Service Update naming convention has been revised to clarify the link between the version number and Service Update number. For example, Service Update 150 will now correspond to version number 150xx. Occasionally a Service Update will be canceled and all associated fixes will be rolled into a subsequent Service Update. For this reason, Service Update numbers may not always increase incrementally.

Service Update 21033 resolves the following issues:

Repaired Functionality

The following list details issues whose resolutions repair items in Dynamics that are not functioning.

Accessibility

  • When using keyboard navigation, could not be applied to the weekday control within the Recurrence dialog box.
  • On mobile devices in the Customer Service Hub, the accessibility screen reader did not announce the name of the image inside the buttons in the toolbar (Alt text).
  • When zoom was set to 400% in the Customer Service Hub, the Advanced find button in the Recent records popup, and long record names within Posts were not visible in the timeline.*
  • When using keyboard navigation, the accessibility screen reader did not apply focus to the Start time/End time fields within the Recurrence dialog box.
  • When using high contrast black/white mode, the days of the week button labels were not visible while using the Days control within the Recurrence dialog box.
  • The accessibility screen reader did not announce the instructions for minimum and maximum values for every text control within the Recurrence dialog box.
  • In the Customer Service Hub, the accessibility screen reader did not announce the full names for each day of the week while using the Days control within the Recurrence dialog box.
  • In the Customer Service Hub, the accessibility screen reader did not announce whether an option was in a selected or non-selected state while using the Days control within the Recurrence dialog box.
  • In the Customer Service Hub, the accessibility screen reader did not announce the full names for each day of the week while using the Days control within the Recurrence dialog * box.
  • The accessibility screen reader could not announce instructions for the "New" button in an account grid that contained a duplicate label in the Customer Service Hub.*
  • When using keyboard navigation, keyboard focus did not remain inside of the sort button expanded state when filtering attachments.*
  • Within the “Create a new email template” dialog box and selecting the 'Show as' combo box (to display template options as tiles, list or grid), pressing the Esc key to close the view combo box closed the entire dialog box.*
  • When navigating to the offline status page in the Field Service app, the offline status was labeled as "not available" and offline data was not downloaded.*
  • In the Customer Service Hub, the accessibility screen reader did not announce whether an option was in a selected or non-selected state while using the Days control within the Recurrence dialog box.
  • Narrator did not announce information when focus was placed on the dashboard.*

Platform Services

  • Synchronously tracking appointments to Dynamics using the MailApp caused invitations to be resent.

Solutions

  • Solution exports, of unmanaged model-driven forms, were changed to be the same as managed forms. As such, when extending an existing managed form for an unmanaged solution, the form will be consistent with the experienced of a managed solution export.
  • Saving email templates that has Dynamics Text slugs resulted in the slugs being converted to plain text, causing them to not work.*
  • Selecting a pin that was displayed on a map within a Booking Calendar would cause the pin to be resized, rather than displaying the information card for that pin, after the information card had been previously closed.*
  • When creating a new automatic record creation (ARC) rule within a managed solution, the order of the ARC rule items was rearranged after exporting the solution.

Unified Interface

  • When creating a new contact record using a Quick Create form, the options within the form were greyed out and unresponsive on phone devices.
  • When language settings were set to a language that utilizes right to left (RTL) formatting, the back button was not visible in the Unified Interface.
  • Information/Instructions did not display when hovering over “+” and “*” in the Customer Service Hub.
  • When the ‘FCB.DateTimeControlDaylightSavings’ is in effect, entering a custom time in a date/time field did not work and the entered time was misread as a JavaScript zero date.*
  • On mobile, the sitemap was opened when using the "pinch to zoom" touch command to view content in the Calendar or Map section of the Booking Calendar control.*
  • On iOS, files attached in the ‘Notes’ tab within Bookings on the Dynamics 365 Field Service app were not displayed, intermittently.*
  • On mobile, the timeline did not load on user dashboards.*
  • On mobile, the search box of a Relevant Search did not accept spaces between keywords.*
  • The Relevance Search options ‘Filter’ and ‘Results’ were not visible in offline mode, preventing their use.*
  • The Relevance Search box was missing within the Mail App.*
  • When opening the default solution grid for any entity and navigating to the fields tab, the "next page" button icon and scrollbar was not visible.*
  • When opening quick create forms on tablet devices, the form was not opened with tablet mode settings, which did not allow the form content to resize to fit small screens.*
  • In the Advanced Filters section of an Account entity, after collapsing a group summary the condition label displayed as, “undefined" rather than the list of conditions being used.*
  • When enabling EnableDesignLanguageThemeSystem, the high density page header had a white background.*
  • A duplicate scroll bar was displayed in the Mail App when opening any Quick Create form.*
  • When opening quick create forms on tablet devices, the form was not opened with tablet mode settings, which did not allow the form content to resize to fit small screens.*
  • When creating a new business rule from an account entity, save, validate, activate buttons. and the details section tab on the command bar were not visible.

Error Messages, Exceptions, and Failures

The following list details issues whose resolutions correct actions that produce errors, unhandled exceptions, or system or component failures.

Platform Services

  • An error occurred when modifying and saving a flow that was using the "When a record is created, updated or deleted" option in the CDS Native connector within an account entity.*

Sales

  • An error occurred within the Saleshub when reviewing a datamap after uploading an Excel/CSV file of an Account entity.*
  • An error occurred when importing picklist options within a comma-separated values (CSV) file while mapping data in the Track Maintenance Possession option.

Unified Interface

  • An error occurred when accessing All Items when viewing Queues within the Advanced filter.*
  • On Apple mobile devices, an error occurred intermittently when opening a record in the Dynamics 365 app.*
  • An error occurred when following a record within a customer entity in the Sales hub.*
  • On iOS, an error occurred within the Field Service app when navigating within a Bookable Resource Booking record after leaving the record open for an extended period of time.*
