With the Power BI admin APIs, along with a .NET SDK and PowerShell modules, administrators can discover artifacts in their Power BI tenant, as well as take administrative actions. These new capabilities will unlock new possibilities for administrators that go beyond what’s currently available in the Power BI admin portal. In addition, extended PowerShell Cmdlets for On-Premises Data Gateways enable administrators to enumerate the data gateways deployed in their Power BI tenant.

We are also incorporating some of these capabilities into the Power BI admin portal, to enable common scenarios without having to use PowerShell. Among other things, this includes a new page for workspace management as well as improvements to existing pages, such as to manage embed codes more efficiently. The new UI supports sorting, filtering, and bulk operations.
