This article describes how to save and view notes, emails, and email summaries by using Finance agents in Microsoft 365 Outlook.
Finance agents in Microsoft 365 Outlook let customers save correspondence, email summaries, and notes in Outlook. All parties who are involved in the collections process in an organization then have shared visibility into the conversations and interactions with customers.
Save emails
To save an email, follow these steps.
- Select the email that you want to save, and then open the Finance agents in Microsoft 365 Outlook add-in.
- After the sidecar is opened, select Save at the top of the Finance agents in Microsoft 365 Outlook add-in.
- Select the customer that you want to associate the email with, and then select Save.
Save email summaries
To save an email summary, follow these steps.
- Select the email that you want to save, and then open the Finance agents in Microsoft 365 Outlook add-in.
- After the sidecar is opened, select Save at the top of the Finance agents in Microsoft 365 Outlook add-in.
- Select the customer that you want to associate the email with, and then select Save.
Save notes
To save a note, follow these steps.
- Open Finance agents in Microsoft 365 Outlook, and then, in the Finance agents in Microsoft 365 Outlook add-in, in the Notes section, select New note.
- Select the customer that you want to associate the note with, and then select Save.
View related activities
To view related activities, emails, and notes, follow these steps.
- From the customer card, select the customer.
- From the related activities card, search for the related correspondence or notes, or scroll the list to find the most recent customer communications.
