Microsoft Ignite Challenge Sweepstakes Frequently Asked Questions

Enter and complete one of the nine Microsoft Ignite challenges, then submit a sweepstakes entry form by December 15, 2025, for a chance to receive a 50% discount Microsoft Certification voucher (sweepstakes terms and conditions apply). While challenge end dates may vary, the sweepstakes entry window does not, so be sure to get started today!

Steps to enter

  1. Review the official rules page.
  2. Register for and complete one of the below nine Microsoft Ignite challenges prior to December 15, 2025 (regardless of individual challenge end date).
  3. Once you complete the challenge, submit an entry via the sweepstakes entry formbefore the sweepstakes period ends on December 15, 2025.
  4. If you’re selected as a winner of one of the 50% discount certification exam vouchers (5,000 available), you will be contacted by Pearson Vue via email with your voucher code, along with the steps on how to redeem. Those steps can also be found the ‘How to redeem your prize’ page.
    • The discount certification exam voucher is eligible for any Microsoft Certification exam conducted by Pearson Vue.
    • The discount certification exam voucher is not eligible for any GitHub certification exams.

How do I participate in the Microsoft Ignite Challenge sweepstakes?

To participate in the Microsoft Ignite Challenge Sweepstakes, you must register for and complete one of the nine qualifying challenges and submit a sweepstakes entry form by December 15, 2025. While challenge end dates may vary, the sweepstakes entry window does not, so be sure to submit your entry form prior to December 15.

To register for and complete a Microsoft Ignite Challenge, you must have a Microsoft Learn profile. If you do not currently have one that is okay, you can create a free account as register for one of the qualifying challenges.

How do I complete a Microsoft Ignite Challenge?

After you have logged in (or created) your Microsoft Learn profile and register for one of the nine qualifying challenges, go to the leaderboard page and click the button to go to the challenge collection.

Once on the challenge collection, complete the listed training content before December 15, 2025.

Note that just completing a challenge does not enter you into the sweepstakes; you must complete a sweepstakes entry form by December 15, 2025, after finishing the challenge to be entered in the drawing.

How can I tell if I’ve completed a Microsoft Ignite Challenge?

Login to your Microsoft Learn profile and go to the challenges home page. From there, look for the qualifying Microsoft Ignite Challenge in which you registered and participated. On the card, it will show a progress bar if there is still content to complete or will show a checkmark and say “completed” if you have finished the challenge.

You can also login to your Microsoft Learn profile and go directly to the challenge leaderboard page in which you participated. At the top of the page, it will show a “where you stand” section with a display of how many content items you’ve completed out of the total available in the collection (e.g., 8/8, 12/12, etc.).

Note that just completing a challenge does not enter you into the sweepstakes; you must complete a sweepstakes entry form by December 15, 2025, after finishing the challenge to be entered in the drawing.

I’ve completed a Microsoft Ignite Challenge. Now what?

Once you have completed one of the nine qualifying Microsoft Ignite Challenges, you must submit for an entry via the sweepstakes entry form.

To complete the submission, you will need to provide; (1) your Microsoft Learn username (which can be validated here), (2) the email address you would like the discount voucher code sent to in the event you are a winner, and (3) the Microsoft Ignite Challenge you completed, along with verifying that you’ve read and consent to the official rules.

Winners will be drawn weekly starting on November 25, 2025, with the last drawing being on December 16, 2025. Winners will be notified within seven (7) days of the drawing if they have been selected. The discount certification exam voucher is eligible for any Microsoft Certification exam conducted by Pearson Vue. It is not eligible for any GitHub Certification exam.

When are winners drawn for the Microsoft Ignite Challenge Sweepstakes?

There will be weekly drawings starting November 25, 2025 with the final drawing being on December 16, 2025. Winners will be notified within seven (7) days of the drawings. Please refer to section three (3), ‘Entry Periods’, of the Microsoft Ignite Challenge Sweepstakes official rules.

How will I be notified if I am a winner of a Microsoft Ignite Challenge Sweepstakes drawing?

Winners will be notified via an email sent to the email address they provided in their Microsoft Ignite Challenge Sweepstakes form submission.

The email will be from ‘MindHub Pro by Pearson VUE’ and will contain the 50% discount certification exam voucher won along with the expiration date and steps on how to redeem.

Emails will be sent within seven (7) days of the applicable Prize Period drawing.

How long does the Microsoft Ignite Challenge Sweepstakes run?

The sweepstake runs until December 15, 2025, at 11:59 PM UTC (23:59).

I am a sweepstakes winner; how long do I have to redeem my prize?

All Microsoft Ignite Challenge Sweepstakes discount certification exam vouchers must be redeemed by April 30, 2026.

This means you must schedule and take your chosen exam by April 30, 2026.

When using your voucher, you will not be able to use it for an exam date attempting to be scheduled for beyond April 30, 2026.

The discount exam voucher is eligible for any Microsoft Certification exams conducted by Pearson Vue. It is not eligible for any GitHub Certification exam.

How do I redeem my discount Microsoft Certification exam voucher?

Instructions on how to redeem your voucher will be provided in the notification email you received from ‘MindHub Pro by Pearson VUE’ that also contained your voucher code. You can additionally refer to the ‘How to redeem your prize’ page.

Discount certification exam voucher is eligible for all Microsoft Certification exams conducted by Pearson Vue. It is not eligible for GitHub Certification exams.
