This article describes the anticipated release schedule for Microsoft Edge for mobile (iOS and Android).
Microsoft Edge mobile follows a release schedule that's independent from the Microsoft Edge desktop (Windows and macOS) release schedule.
Release cadence
Microsoft Edge provides channels to manage how often the browser is updated. For more information about channels, release cycles, and support levels, see the Channel overview.
For mobile, the primary channels are:
- Beta Channel – Preview builds for validation and testing before Stable release.
- Stable Channel – Production builds distributed through the Apple App Store and Google Play Store.
