Definition

Some objects that implement TextDirectionHeuristic.

Remarks

Some objects that implement TextDirectionHeuristic. Use these with the BidiFormatter#unicodeWrap unicodeWrap() methods in BidiFormatter. Also notice that these direction heuristics correspond to the same types of constants provided in the android.view.View class for android.view.View#setTextDirection setTextDirection(), such as android.view.View#TEXT_DIRECTION_RTL.

To support versions lower than android.os.Build.VERSION_CODES#JELLY_BEAN_MR2, you can use the support library's androidx.core.text.TextDirectionHeuristicsCompat class.

Constructors

TextDirectionHeuristics()
TextDirectionHeuristics(IntPtr, JniHandleOwnership)

A constructor used when creating managed representations of JNI objects; called by the runtime.

Properties

AnyrtlLtr

If the text contains any strong right to left non-format character, determines that the direction is right to left, falling back to left to right if it finds none.

Class

Returns the runtime class of this Object.

(Inherited from Object)
FirststrongLtr

Determines the direction based on the first strong directional character, including bidi format chars, falling back to left to right if it finds none.

FirststrongRtl

Determines the direction based on the first strong directional character, including bidi format chars, falling back to right to left if it finds none.

Handle

The handle to the underlying Android instance.

(Inherited from Object)
JniIdentityHashCode (Inherited from Object)
JniPeerMembers
Locale

Force the paragraph direction to the Locale direction.

Ltr

Always decides that the direction is left to right.

PeerReference (Inherited from Object)
Rtl

Always decides that the direction is right to left.

(Inherited from Object)
Wait(Int64, Int32)

Causes the current thread to wait until it is awakened, typically by being notified or interrupted, or until a certain amount of real time has elapsed.
