Parameters

name: String

A name for the imported certificate.

certificate: Byte[]

The PFX or ASCII PEM-formatted value of the certificate containing both the X.509 certificates and the private key.

Exceptions

ArgumentException

name is empty.

ArgumentNullException

name or certificate is null.

Remarks

If importing an ASCII PEM-formatted certificate, you must also create a CertificatePolicy with ContentType set to Pem, and set the Policy property. If the Policy property or ContentType property is not set, Pkcs12 is assumed and the import will fail.
