Gets the value of a static or instance byte field.

Parameters

obj: Object

the object to extract the byte value from

Returns

SByte

the value of the byte field

Attributes: RegisterAttribute

Exceptions

NullPointerException

if the object is null and the field is non-static

IllegalArgumentException

if the object is not compatible with the declaring class

IllegalAccessException

if this field is not accessible
