Definition

Gets a reference to the XML Document Object Model (DOM) of the specified DataSourceObject object associated with the XDocument object.

An IXMLDOMDocument of the XML Document Object Model (DOM) of the specified DataObject object associated with the XDocument object.

In the following example, the GetDOM method of the XDocument object is used to set a reference to the XML DOM that it returns, which in this case is the DataSourceObject

object named "CityDropDownList":

IXMLDOMDocument city = thisXDocument.<span class="label">GetDOM</span>("CityDropDownList");

Remarks

After you have a reference to the XML DOM that the GetDOM method returns, you can use any of the properties and methods that the XML DOM supports to manipulate the data that the DOM contains.

Important: This member can be accessed only by forms running in the same domain as the currently open form, or by forms that have been granted cross-domain permissions.
