Remarks
Input columns always reference an output column from an upstream component. The output column of the upstream component is identified by the LineageID property of the input column. An input column is no longer valid if a column upstream from the input column cannot be found that has the same lineage ID as the input column. These types of columns are often referred to as orphans because their origination no longer exists.
