Processes Windows messages.

The Windows Message to process.
Remarks
All messages are sent to the WndProc
method after being filtered through the PreProcessMessage method.
The WndProc
method corresponds exactly to the Windows WindowProc
function. For more information about processing Windows messages, see WindowProc callback function.
Note
Functions and objects in the Microsoft.VisualBasic.Compatibility.VB6 namespace are provided for use by the tools for upgrading from Visual Basic 6.0 to Visual Basic. In most cases, these functions and objects duplicate functionality that you can find in other namespaces in the .NET Framework. They are necessary only when the Visual Basic 6.0 code model differs significantly from the .NET Framework implementation.
Notes to Inheritors
Inheriting controls should call the WndProc(Message) method for the base class to process any messages that they do not handle.
