Overloads
TryLoadSymbolsCallback() |
Called to initiate loading of symbols for DkmModuleInstances whose symbols were not found when the module loaded. Location constraint: This can be called from the client or the server. The server implementation of this is a cache to prevent unnecessary network calls. The client goes directly to the 'real' implementation which also ensures that reattempts return early. This API was introduced in Visual Studio 17 RTM (DkmApiVersion.VS17RTM). |
TryLoadSymbolsCallback(DkmWorkList, DkmCompletionRoutine<DkmTryLoadSymbolsCallbackAsyncResult>) |
Called to initiate loading of symbols for DkmModuleInstances whose symbols were not found when the module loaded. This method will append a new work item to the specified work list, and return once the work item has been appended. The actual processing of the work item is asynchronous. The caller will be notified that the request is complete through the completion routine. Location constraint: This can be called from the client or the server. public void TryLoadSymbolsCallback (Microsoft.VisualStudio.Debugger.DkmWorkList WorkList, Microsoft.VisualStudio.Debugger.DkmCompletionRoutine<Microsoft.VisualStudio.Debugger.Symbols.DkmTryLoadSymbolsCallbackAsyncResult> CompletionRoutine);
member this.TryLoadSymbolsCallback : Microsoft.VisualStudio.Debugger.DkmWorkList * Microsoft.VisualStudio.Debugger.DkmCompletionRoutine<Microsoft.VisualStudio.Debugger.Symbols.DkmTryLoadSymbolsCallbackAsyncResult> -> unit
Public Sub TryLoadSymbolsCallback (WorkList As DkmWorkList, CompletionRoutine As DkmCompletionRoutine(Of DkmTryLoadSymbolsCallbackAsyncResult))
Parameters
- WorkList
- DkmWorkList
WorkList to append the new work item to.
- CompletionRoutine
- DkmCompletionRoutine<DkmTryLoadSymbolsCallbackAsyncResult>
Routine to fire when the request is complete. If the request is successfully appended to the work list, this will always fire (including when the operation is canceled). This will never fire if appending the work item fails.
