Microsoft IoT Hub Azure Device Provisioning Services management client library for .NET

The Microsoft Azure IoT Hub Device Provisioning Service (DPS) is a helper service for IoT Hub that enables zero-touch, just-in-time provisioning to the right IoT hub without requiring human intervention, allowing customers to provision millions of devices in a secure and scalable manner. Learn how to provision devices to your IoT hub(s) with our quickstarts, tutorials, and samples.

This library supports managing Microsoft Azure IoT Hub Azure Device Provisioning Services resources.

This library follows the new Azure SDK guidelines, and provides many core capabilities:

- Support MSAL.NET, Azure.Identity is out of box for supporting MSAL.NET.
- Support [OpenTelemetry](https://opentelemetry.io/) for distributed tracing.
- HTTP pipeline with custom policies.
- Better error-handling.
- Support uniform telemetry across all languages.

Getting started

Install the package

Install the Microsoft Azure Device Provisioning Services management library for .NET with NuGet:

dotnet add package Azure.ResourceManager.DeviceProvisioningServices

Prerequisites

You must have an Microsoft Azure subscription.
