CodeDomProvider.FileExtension Property

Definition

Gets the default file name extension to use for source code files in the current language.

Property Value

A file name extension corresponding to the extension of the source files of the current language. The base implementation always returns Empty.

Examples

The following code example creates an instance of Microsoft.VisualBasic.VBCodeProvider. The example displays the provider name, hash code and default file name extension for the new provider instance.
