Remarks

The Version property returns a string. In some scenarios, Version might contain letter characters, as in the case of a browser or client device that is a beta version such as "7.0b." To correctly get the version as a data type that can be used in a numeric comparison, concatenate the MajorVersion and MinorVersion property values.
