Protected Sub RenderDoEvent (doType As String, target As String, arg As String, postBackType As WmlPostFieldType, text As String, includeVariables As Boolean)
Parameters
- doType
- String
The type of action to render. Maps to the type attribute of the < do >
element. Usually "accept" or "options".
- target
- String
The ID of the control targeted by the action. When the user selects the action, a postback is generated, targeting the control specified by this ID.
- arg
- String
The argument for the action. The argument is included in the postback generated when the user selects the action.
- postBackType
- WmlPostFieldType
The WmlPostFieldType type used for arg
.
- text
- String
The label associated with the action. This usually appears as a softkey label on the device.
- includeVariables
- Boolean
Whether to include all variables on the form when posting back to the server.
Remarks
If the control you are targeting is the current form and you want to include all the variables when posting back to the server, you can use the RenderFormDoEvent method. Called internally by the writer and inherited classes.
